This can be a learning environment, club, group, your own home an event or at a venue of your choosing. Some birds can be handled (subject to conditions and restrictions, see T & C's page)

About Paul Golledge
Paul Golledge is an experienced Bird of Prey and Owl keeper and conservationist.

He has had a passion for wildlife and birds in general from his early childhood. He first kept Finches and Canaries from aged 11, breeding and showing them at local events. There was always a fascination for birds of prey in particular, and in 1993 he attended a falconry course in Newent, Gloucestershire, where he learnt how to keep and fly birds of prey.
Paul joined the Hawk and Owl Trust in 1992 and has been a member ever since. He was chairman for the South Gloucestershire and North Bristol group for over 10 years. During 2021 Paul helped form a local independant conservation group dedicated to helping provide nest boxes and habitat for Owls and Birds of Prey in and around South Gloucestershire (SGOBPC). Here teams of volunteers work in the field to help conserve wild birds of prey and their habitats. This involves working closely with farmers, landowners and local councils on habitat management for wildlife. Providing suitable hunting and nest sites for these magnificent birds.
Paul also works alongside other conservation, wildlife, friends groups and rescue organisations to help protect our wildlife and birds of prey.
He is a regular guest at Bristol University School of Bio-Science assisting with practical demonstrations with Owl prey and pellets.
Paul is keen for people of all ages to learn and discover all about birds of prey, their habitats, how they hunt, where they live and why they are an important part of our environment.
